OU VC Prof Ravinder to receive WCRC award in London

Prof D Ravinder, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University has left for United Kingdom on October 23 Sunday, for a week long visit that includes visits to various universities in England and Wales and a visit to House of Lords, London. He will receive an award from the WCRC (World Consulting and Research Corporation) for his leadership at the OU.
Osmania University has been selected for “WCRC Leaders Asia, World’s Best Brand 2022” after a final evaluation by all the auditors, jury and the editorial. The University was selected after collecting primary and secondary research data based on media reports, interviews with the stakeholders of the University. 
The Award will be presented to the University at a special ceremony scheduled on October 28, Friday, at the House of Lords, British Parliament, London. Abhimanyu Ghosh, Chairman of Jury and Editor, WCRC Leaders, Asia has invited Prof. D Ravinder to attend and accept the award on behalf of Osmania University.
‘It is an honour and proud moment for all of us at the University in accepting this prestigious international award’ said Prof Ravinder on being conferred this honour. Talking to Excel India, Prof Ravinder expressed his happiness to be in the UK at a time when Indian origin Rishi Sunak took over as Prime Minister of the UK.
WCRC is an organisation that promotes and focuses on credible brands and provides a platform for the leaders in different fields including education to exchange their experiences.
