The Indian girls’ team emerged champions of the Kho Kho World Cup. India defeated Nepal 78-40 in the final held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. This is the first time that the Kho Kho World Cup is being held. India played aggressively in the final round and took an unassailable lead of 34-0. Later, Nepal recovered and ended the second round with a score of 35-24. In the third round, India increased its aggression again and scored consecutive points to increase its lead to 49. In the last round, Nepal scored 16 points and India won with 38 points.
