We,  the group of Civil Engineering 1993 pass-out batch from Chaitnya Bharathi Institute Of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad, had a reunion of batch on completion of 30 years of Engineering completion this week.

We met at the hotel ITC Kohenur, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The party was hosted by M.Srinivas Rao who has a software company in the US and also branches in Hyderabad Cyber towers. We are 40 students batch and many were in the US and also in the private service & business and  some settled in the Government services.

We celebrated our 25 years of Silver Jubilee at Hyderabad and that time we also took some oath to do social work and work towards society development.

One of the initiatives came from four ellow classmates Ravindra Reddy .He has undertaken free eye camp at his native place and is operated free for 200+ patients. For this noble cause he has been rewarded by the President’s office, White House USA and also his employer American Express. No time is late for starting some good work.

“Many of us well settled”

Many are very well settled in our chosen areas. I also worked in some top Telecom companies in India and abroad… and now working as one of the Telecom and infrastructure entrepreneurs in Hyderabad. Also I contributed to social causes in Mumbai for various health camps and upliftment of slum dwellers for educational and merit students.

Sowjanya, one of our batch mates, contributed to the CBIY 2018 and2019 batches for motivational lectures with famous persons, some are also Guinness World Record holders.

Secondly we as a group during the Covid time contributed in various ways in terms of hospitals and also monetary wise for one of the groups where the funeral rituals undertaken for the bodies left in the hospital. Overall the gathering was very good and we enjoyed the food and cocktails at Golconda Pavilion of Kohenur.

It was a remarkable reunion as all old memories of college days with hostelers and day scholars and their behavioral during that time and now is remembered and laughed to an extent. On the whole, it is a chill out day on a hot summer of Hyderabad!

The kids of all our batchmates are excelling in their fields.
