Former BRS Rajya Sabha MP and Green Indian Challenge campaign founder leader J Santosh Kumar on December 7, Sunday, celebrated his birthday by planting saplings as part of his mission to spread the cause of greenery. As his birthday falls on Sunday, he also posted pics of a pair of brown ducks on the morning, without failing to miss his Sunday photography, for which hundreds of his fans wait every weekend.
“Om my birthday today, I visited Sri Gayatri Saang Veda Vidyalayam near Keesara, received the sacred Veda ashirvachanams from the revered Veda gurus and planted saplings along with the enthusiastic Veda students as part of my #GreenIndiaChallenge initiative,” said Santosh in a post on X earlier in the day.
“Grateful to former corporation chairmen Balaraj Yadav, Sumitra Tanoba, Shubhaprad Patel, Kishore Goud, GIC co-founders Karunakar Reddy & Raghavendra Yadav, ex-sarpanch Medhuri Venkatesh, Srikant Reddy, GIC representatives and several other BRS leaders who joined the programme,” said Santosh. “Let’s continue to nurture tradition, nature and future generations,” said Santosh in the post.
Santosh in the last over eight years has inspired thousands to plant saplings and trees on their happy occasions, like birthday, marriage anniversaries. It is more than celebrities, many villages, commoners and youth got motivated by his GIC campaign – that says save the nature, planet through greenery.
Brown ducks pics as Sunday treat!
Though it is his birthday today, Santosh hasn’t skipped his #SundayPhotography date and this morning his posted pics of some brown ducks. Needless to say, these ducks are of many kinds, some migratory while others multi-geographical. In his X posts, Santosh captured these lovely birds different angles – sitting, flying and vaulting in air. We mostly see grey or while ducks in our water bodies, but these browns ones too can be seen some places, depending on the seasons.
