Fire safety meet at Chaitanya Varsity

Youth should understand the importance of fire safety which is vital for their future as well as development of the country. “Awareness of fire safety will help prevent loss of life and property,” said Hanamkonda Fire Officer A Nagaraju. Due to lack awareness among people, our country had to huge loss of life and property every year, he explained.

Interacting with the students at Chaitanya Deemed to be University in Warangal on January 28, Friday, he said all the students should be aware of the fire safety norms. He explained the various categories of safety norms. The meeting assumed significance in view of the upcoming summer season which usually witnesses fire msiahps.

Chaitanya University Vice-chancellor Prof G Damodar, NSS programme coordinator D Gopinath, programme officer E Aravind, assistant registrar B Murali, staff and students took part in the programme.
