President Draupadi Murmu who came to Hyderabad on a day’s visit was received at Begumpet airport by Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and ministers, MPs and other VIPs on June 16, Friday evening. Murmu is here to inspect a parade of Indian  Air Force on June 17, Saturday morning. She will return to Delhi by 11.30 am on the same day.

President Murmu came by an Indian Air Force flight by evening 5.15 pm. CM KCR who came first to the airport joined Governor Tamilisai and flanked by union minister Kishan Reddy and others in welcoming the First Citizen. What caught the attention of all at the airport was cordiality between KCR and Tamilisai who usually are not on cordial terms.for sometime.

CM KCR introduced ministers Mohammad Ali, T Srinivas Yadav, Malla Reddy, P Sabita Reddy, Satyavati Rathod, Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar, MLCs Rajeswar Reddy, Madhusudhana Chary, Naveen Rao, Hyderabad mayor Vijaya Lakshmi, Chief Secretary Santi Kumari, IAS,  Director General of Police Anjani Kumar, IPS and several Army, Air Force and Navy officers. Later, the President proceeded to Raj Bhavan Guest House for her stay.
