The Telangana Governor’s Awards for Excellence 2024 were announced on Monday. Eight people have been selected for the Excellence Award. Governor Jishnu Dev Verma will present these awards to individuals and organizations who have served in various fields on Republic Day (26th of this month). Dusharla Satyanarayana, Arikapudi Raghu, and Paralympic champion Jeevanji Deepthi have been selected for the awards.
Also, Professor M Panduranga Rao and PB Krishna Bharathi will be jointly awarded. Also, Dhruvamshu Organization, LV Prasad Eye Hospital, Aditya Mehta Foundation, and Samsukthi Foundation have been selected for the award, said Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary, Governor’s Office, in a statement. The award will carry a cash award of Rs. 2 lakh and a memento. While Excellence Awards will be given to those who have provided the best services in the fields of environment protection, welfare of the disabled, sports, and cultural activities. However, the awards for individuals and organizations will be different.
