Ram Mandir at Ayodhya is the aspiration of a 1.40 billion strong nation of India,” said Sudhakar Gande, entrepreneur and investment banker. Prime Minister Naerendra Modi is rightly representing the will and wishes of the country and people look at him with great admiration and affection for participating in the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

Sudhakar Gande, who recently met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and expressed his wish to join BJP soon, strongly defended the  Ram Mandir inauguration with all the pomp and glory due for it. “Not just those in our country, but the entire world is eagerly watching and celebrating the January 22 event in Ayodhya. This is not just a temple ceremony, but a national aspiration,” said he.

For Sudhakar, the Pran Prathistha of Ram Mandir in three days fulfills the long pending dream of people of India. “This is a 500 year desire of a nation of us. Ever since the Ram temple in Ayodyya was demolished five centuries back, people of this great country have been waiting for this day. Finally it came. We all must be grateful to PM Modi for making this happen now,” said Sudhakar Gande.

Sudhakar dismissed the objections raised by Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi on Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s opening and their decision to stay away from the January 22 event. “Rahul Gandhi must have been guided by his political compulsions. He must be concerned about the votes of a section of minorities. But he is forgetting the fact that vast majority of this country, spanning all religious affiliations are celebrating the event,” said Sudhakar.

“Modi is the best bet for India”

Sudhakar Gande, who chairs several business and trade bodies including the US India SME Council, is of the view that PM Modi is sure to win another term in the coming Lok Sabha elections. Sudhakar earliler held the CEO position of Global Trust Bank and now leads some technological and business companies in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. For him, PM Modi’s economic policies are helping India become a major global power.

“Vikasit Bharat”, a goal, to make India a major global power by 2047 is an ambitious agenda. Besides, many of the schemes and programmes launched by the Modi government in the last 10 years need to be continued for their logical end, so that the results will be before us to see. So, Modi should get one more term in 2024 parliament elections and I ‘m sure he will get it,” said Sudhakar.

Referring to Telangana political situation, Sudhakar felt that the Modi factor will play a big role in the LS elections and people are ready to send more BJP MPs from here, than the previous 2019 tally. “There’s a wave currently in the country in favour of PM Modi. Telangana is not an exception from this wave. Definitely we will see BJP getting better results in the upcoming LS polls,” said Sudhakar Gande.
