BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has informally launched electioneering for the assembly elections in four months away, in a public meeting held at Suryapet on August 20, Sudnay. “We are going to come power once again, there is no doubt about it. We will win 5-6 seats more than our tally in 2018,” said he, addressing the gathering.

CM KCR mainly focused his attack on opposition Congress and BJP for their bid to secure a chance to come to power in Telangana. “Judge their performance here and elsewhere in the country and come to a conclusion. Don’t go by their false promises just before elections. Please discuss in your villages and areas on what we have done in the last nine years with that of their track record,” said the CM.

Our government is welfare centered. We have implemented novel schemes. We have innovated several welfare measures. Our poll time promises were realized and they are reaching the roots, he said and added that the model schemes and concepts like Dharani, 24 hours power and missions Bhageeratha and Kakatiya were implemented thoroughly.

The chief minister detailed that the novel pension schemes and development programmes have been taking the state to the top slot in the country’s development graph. Telangana state is top in per capita income and per capita power consumption  He further said the fresh promises of certain political parties about the enhancement of pensions and other aspects may not be executed properly as those parties are not keen on promoting welfare for people,

Announcing the schemes would be expanded further if voted to power for the third consecutive term in the state amidst applause from the massive audience, the chief minister affirmed that the moods of the people attending the rally was protecting the retaining of four MLA seats of the Suryapet region.

During his thirty minutes long speech the Chief minister made scathing attack on Congress party in particular for hindering the prospects of the states. Had the Congress is sincere in scheme implementation on welfare sector it could have provided free 24 hours Power to people and implemented all the welfare concepts it is promising now for Telangana people. “ you first implement the same promises in the states where your party is in rule and repeat the same here” KCR suggested.

The chief minister prior to the public meeting inaugurated the government Medical college and District integrated Collectorate complex  District police office, Integrated model market &District BRS office at Suryapet district headquarters.
