TRS supremo and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on July 10, Sunday, said that he is not scared of BJP’s destabilization politics. “They (BJP leaders) are talking that Eknath Shindes and Kattappas will be created in Telangana and Tamil Nadu too. Let them do that, I am not afraid of Eknath Shindes. I am elected by people  with 2/3rd majority the assembly,” said KCR, at a media conference at Pragathi Bhavan residence in Hyderabad.

KCR was responding to statements made by some BJP leaders like Rajya Sabha MP Dr K Laxman that some Kattappas (loyal servants in Baahubali movie) would come up and destabilise KCR government  Some other leaders of BJP said, they would do an Eknath Shinde type operation in the State too. The CM devoted major part of his press meet to counter the attacks of BJP leaders against his government . KCR addressed the media for over 2 hours.

PM Modi and his senior ministers had disappointed people of Telangana, when they came here to participate in their  BJP national executive meeting early this month. Some ministers have talked rubbish, while Modi hasn’t given any funds to us as usual. “Instead, they spread falsehood and talked utter lies against us. I am ready to show them the kind of development we have done in Telangana,” said KCR.

The CM flanked by some ministers and senior leaders made it clear that he would definitely play a major role at the national level in the coming parliamentary elections. “I may launch a national level party or even float a front of likeminded parties to prevent BJP from coming to power again. People of the country are fed up with the kind of politics BJP leaders are doing,” said KCR.

KCR said that India today needs visionary leaders like Lee Kuan Yew (former Singapore PM) and Deng Xiaoping (former Chinese supreme leader) to develop the country. “We have wasted 75 years  without developing our country. We are unable to utilise every drop of water available so as to irrigate every acre of arable land. We have resources, but not proper leadership. We want qualitative transforming policies, not petty politics,” said KCR.

KCR attacked PM Modi for record lowest fall in rupee value against the US dollar and unabated inflation. People are suffering due to inflation. Every area of our democracy is in threat today. The Honorable judges of Supreme Court are trolled by retired judges and others for delivering right judgments. BJP has nothing but an agenda of hatred and divisive politics to get votes,” said KCR.

The CM announced three days holidays for schools and educational institutions in  the wake of incessant rains that are lashing the State for the last couple of days. “I appeal to people to stay safe and indoors, unless very urgent. We have asked the officials to take all possible measures to rescue people trapped in floods and rain waters. Our machinery is fully ready to deal with the situation,” he said.
