More Pan India movies may come

These days, every producer of every big film heroes are talking about their movies being released pan India. Mostly, these pan India movies are coming from the South – Telugu, Tamil and Kannada – film industries and of course, Malayalam too is not lagging behind in this race. SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 1 & 2 parts have put the Telugu industry in the national spotlight.

The movie which grossed around Rs 1,200 crore across the world has set a precedent for regional movies which aspire to go national and international. We must remember that Baahubali has been released in China, Japan, Korea and Singapore. When a movie captures certain basic emotions that overcome the language barriers, there is no dearth of audience for them.

Now, another of his movies RRR is waiting to be released all over the country. It was supposed to be released on January 7. But now due to Covid pandemic, the film may hit the screens by May or June this year. There are several other movies like KGF from Yash, Pushpa from Sukumar, among others which vie for a share in the pan India market.
