BRS Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar paid rich tributes to Mother Nature, through its wildlife, on the occasion of Mothers’ Day on May 14, Sunday. He posted four of his photos, taken earlier, depicting bonding between mother  and child in the animal world – pairs of lioness, deer, monkeys and birds. A pic of a lioness with its two cubs is too nice to forget, don’t miss the love in lioness eyes.

“”The unconditional love, selflessness and unwavering support mean the world to the child. She is the epitome of strength and grace. Nothing can come between the mother and her children. A very#HappyMothersDay to all the amazaing Ammas around the world. Some of them through by my camera lenses,” tweeted Santosh. The tweeted got 3,380 views, 141 likes, 27 retweets by 11.30 am.

Every time, even at the cost of sounding bore, I mention Santosh’s passion for nature and our environment since he launched Green India Challenge (GIC) five years ago. Thousands of people have responded to GIC and planted lakhs of saplings across the country, on their special days. Last week he went to Mumbai where he planted a sapling along with popular stand up comedian Kapil Sharma.

Sharma even mentioned his photo with Santosh in a show he hosted later popular actor with Sayaji Shinde. Paying respects to our mothers is wonderful, but discharging our duty towards our mother nature is an urgent need.  The pics, with #HappySunday tag, say that motherhood is a natural phenomena, should be revered and remembered.
