The country’s largest telecom company Jio has increased the price of its plan by Rs. 100. This new plan will be effective from January 23. It revised its mobile tariff in July last year. The company has decided to make all its mobile recharge plans more expensive. Along with this, many schemes have also been discontinued. Jio has now made its cheapest postpaid plan Rs. 199 more expensive.
From January 23, it will charge users Rs 299 instead of Rs 199 for this plan. Talking about the benefits available in this monthly plan, Jio said that in this plan, users will get 25GB high speed data along with unlimited calling to any number across India.
Users will get 100 free SMS daily and free national roaming. Since the plan is expensive, users will have to spend an additional Rs. 100 for all these benefits.
Jio’s cheapest plan for new postpaid users is Rs. 349. Talking about the benefits available in this plan, users will get free calling benefits across India. In addition, users will get 30GB high-speed data as well as unlimited 5G. Not only this, Jio’s plan also comes with 100 free SMS daily and national roaming benefits.
Talking about Jio’s cheapest family plan, users will have to spend Rs 449 every month. In this plan, users will get the benefit of 75GB high speed data along with unlimited calling 5G data.
Users can add up to three more numbers in addition to the primary number. However, for each number, users will have to pay a separate price of Rs. 150 per month. In addition, all secondary numbers will get 5GB of complimentary data per month.
