Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has predicted victory for the Congrss, JMM and RJD alliance in this month’s Jharkhand assembly elections.  Bhatti has been appointed by the AICC as senior observer for Jharkhand assembly polls. He has been camping in the state for the last few days and meeting leaders and cadre. He is one of the star campaigners of Congress in Jharkhand. Presently, Congress-JMM government is in power there.

Addressing a Congress workers meeting in Ramghar assembly constituency on November 2, Saturday, Bhatti said that Mamata Devi, Congress candidate from the seat would win comfortably. The Deputy CM addressed a booth level party workers  meeting in some of the blocks in the constituency. Bhatti mostly spoke about the poll plank of the Congress party at the national level.

“Congress promises the equality and social justice to all citizens as per our Constitution. Social justice also ensures economic uplift and all citizens will get equal opportunities. Whereas, the BJP has been propagating divisive trends among our society,” he said. He also participated in meetings in other areas too. At Ranchi, Bhatti took part in a meeting along with AICC general secretary KC Venugopal and other senior leaders from the state.

Along with Bhatti, several other AICC members and senior Congress leaders too are campaigning. Jharkhand accounts for a large number SC/ST population and most of the areas are covered by the coal and other mines. As Bhatti is from Khammam district, which too has a large number of coal mine areas, he is able to relate to the issues faced by the miners and other workers, said sources.
