BRS MPs plant a sapling in Delhi on KTR’s birthday

BRS working president and IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao’s 47th birthday was celebrated by the party leaders and cadre with pomp and gala on July 24, Monday. But, KTR was conspicuous by his absence in any of these celebrations throughout the day. Some senior leaders said he was away from hustle of Hyderabad while others said he spent the day quietly with his family.

KTR, on his part, has expressed disinterest in celebrating birthday on a grand scale. In a twee on Sunday, he told his party leaders and supporters to donate the money spent on the celebrations for a good cause like helping out orphans. He old them to contribute to the future of as many as 94 orphans in Telangana. “These orphans are children of our Telangana and our government has a responsibility to give them a future,” said KTR.

Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao performed Puja at Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple praying well being of KTR. Several other ministers too held special programmes on the occasion on Monday. Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy too greeted KTR on his birthday and wished that the young leader had a bright future and serve the state.

BRS MPs who are in Delhi attending parliament sessions planed saplings on KTR’s birthday and cut a cake. Rajya Sabha MP Santosh tweeted photo of MPs celebrating KTR’s birthday. MLA KP Vivekananda Goud announced that he would be taking steps to help some orphans as per the call of KTR. So is Rajiv Sagar, chairman of Telangana Foods, as he came forward to help some orphans.

Telangana BC Commission member Kishore Goud led a team of BRS leaders in celebrating KTR’s birthday on Osmania University campus. Telangana Sheep and Goats corporation chairman Dudimetla Bajaraj Yadav and others planted saplings on the occasion as part of Green India Challenge.  Reports have come various other planes in Telangana and abroad too on KTR’s birthday celebrations on Monday.
