Japan ambassador in India, His Excellency Hiroshi SUZUKI has paid an honorary visit to the Indo-Japan Hub located at Asian Suncity Kondapur Hyderabad on June 14, Friday. He was accompanied by Ms. Mihoko Nagai, 1st Secretary; Mr. Koji Hara, 1st Secretary along with two delegates from the Consulate-General of Japan, Chennai, Ms. Naoko Yuzawa, Consul and Ms. A Lakshmi, Senior Economic Analyst.

His Excellency and his team were welcomed by Dr S K Jayachandra, IPS. DGP Retd Chief advisor (NRJH) and other dignitaries on behalf of Na Ra Japan HUB. The Hub team explained him the activities and the various achievements during his visit.

His Excellency in his speech delivered to the guests shared that India and Japan shared the common values and also thanked for their efforts towards promoting Japan and its culture in India. He appreciated the various activities like Ikebana, Bonsai, Origami, Martial arts, Japanese language classes and other activities that are done through the centre.

H.E appreciated and he got inspired by the continued collaboration between the two sister cities, Hyderabad and Miyoshi and the student-exchange programme between them. He also appreciated the launch of Japanese language as part of the CBSE curriculum in Hyderabad. He also enjoyed the collection of Japanese artefacts at the centre and spent almost about an hour at the centre.

The HUB was created by B Rama Bhadra and his wife Naganath as a part of their continuous efforts to promote relations between India and Japan.  Through this HUB, they aim to increase the awareness of Japan in India and bring good aspects of Japan for the benefit of India. The Hub works with the Japanese culture-related organizations of Hyderabad and support their activity.
