PVR INOX Cinemas, the largest and the most premium cinema exhibitor in India, proudly announces the re-release of the iconic film Lakshya, marking its 20th anniversary under PVR INOX Showcase. This special re-release will allow audiences to experience the timeless magic of Lakshya once again on the big screen, said a press release.
Starting June 21 PVR INOX Showcase is a captivating IP that honours blockbuster hits and beloved cult classics on their significant milestones, including anniversaries and the birthdays of cast and crew. PVR has had the distinct pleasure of presenting timeless masterpieces like Silsila, Koi Mil Gaya, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to name a few. Each screening has been met with an extraordinary and enthusiastic response, leaving audiences spellbound and celebrating the magic of cinema.
Lakshya, a coming-of-age film set against the backdrop of the 1999 Kargil War, features Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan in one of their most celebrated performances. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, the film received critical acclaim for its powerful storytelling and memorable characters.
