ISSO Taekwondo Nationals 2024, which was off to a grand start at Indus International School Hyderabad on Saturday. They staved off close competition while winning six gold medals across age-group categories, said a press release from Snaps India news agency.

From among the city schools, Chirec International School and Oakridge International School, Bachupally shared the top spot with three gold medals each. The coveted event has drawn the participation of around 200 students from 42 schools from across the country, representing both IB and Cambridge boards.

Poomsae and Kyorugi events are being held in various age categories, including Under-14, U-17, and U-19.
