In what could be termed a major achievement in the history of BRS party, the party supremo and Telangaana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated the BRS office building at Vasanth Vihar in New Delhi on May 4, Thursday.The formal inauguration of the party building was performed at 1.05 PM by the party chief. Later, KCR occupied his chamber in the new building and signed some official papers.
The new premises was built in an area of 100 sq mts extent and the four storied building occupied 11,000 sq ft built area. A special cabin in the building is allocated to the party president while two special suits were specified for the guests in the building. Similarly four chambers have been allocated in the building for the national general secretaries of the party.
These are all located in the first floor of the building, while in the second and third floors a total of 18 rooms were constructed for the party cadre and leaders visiting the national capital. A canteen was also specified in the constructed area. BRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao, and several other ministers, MPs and MLAs too were present on the occasion.
In the morning a Sudarshana Homa and Vasthu puja was performed to mark the house warming ceremony and Roads and Buildings Minister of Telangana V Prasanth Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar performed those pujas with traditional gesture. After the inauguration, CM KCR returned to Hyderabad. He is likely to come to Delhi after Karnataka assembly elections and stay for a few days.
KCR to play major role in Opposition unity
KCR will play major role in uniting the opposition parties against BJP before general elections to Parliament next summer. Already, he initiated talks with like-minded parties since a year ago. Now that the office is ready and those who want to meet can come can do so, more frequently. BRS office will be a meeting point for the opposition leaders.
