“Swachhata is important to our country as we intend to become a developed country by 2047. PM Modi had taken up several other programmes too to lift the poor out of the unhygienic and unclean atmosphere in their habitats. Toilets for all and LPG gas connections to the poor are some of the measures the Modi sarkar has launched coinciding the Gandhi Ji Jayanti,” said Kishan Reddy.
Even Mahatma Gandhi himself once said that if he were to chose between freedom and Swachhata, he would first opt for Swachhata as anyway freedom will come to India.
