Shreya Ghoshal takes part in Green India Challenge

Famous singer Shreya Ghoshal participated in Green India Challenge (GIC) and planted a sapling responding to @Shankar_Live Ji’s nomination in Hyderabad on May 1, Monday. GIC founder leader and BRS MP Santosh Kumar was with Shreya Ghoshal when she planted a sapling on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Ghoshal said she was in inspired by GIC in promoting greenery and lauded Santosh for his initative.

On his part, MP Sanotsh tweeted, saying: “The sweet voice of Indian Cinema, queen of melodies @shreyaghoshal ji, is here in Hyderabad to do the honours for #Green India Challenge. Thank you so such Shreya ji for planting sapling as part of #GIC responding to  @Shankar-Live Ji’s nomination. Also thanks for your kind worlds”. Several others including GIC functionaries too were present on the occasiohn.

Since GIC has been launched by Santosh five years ago, hundreds of celebrities including film personalities have taken up the GIC and planted saplings, reflecting their commitment to the cause of greenery.
