Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his team of delegation that inludes Information Technology Minister D Sridhar Babu was greeted by NRIs from Telangana in the US. Revanth Reddy is currently on a two week long tour in the US to promote investments in Telangana. The NRIs delegation was led by Indian born American photojournalist Mohammed Jaffer in New Jersey early this week.
Jaffer has been covering prominent Indian leaders and had the honor of traveling with US President Bill Clinton on his maiden trip there in 2000. Barack Obama in 2015, and Donald Trump, traveled as a member of the 100-plus White House Press Corps that will include White House staff photographers as well as journalists from agencies like the AFP,Associated Press and Reuters Pix Snaps India
Mohammed Jaffer comes from a family of Journalism in Hyderabad and his father late MA Rahim established SnapsIndia in 1953. He was known as father of photojournalism in Andhra Pradesh and Government of Andhra Pradesh has instituted an award “M.A. Rahim best press photographer award” to photo journalists and the award was presented every year by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Clinton went to the Ashram when he visited India after an earthquake in Gujarat. His name has been included in the US Congressional record by Congressman Frank Pallone.Over the years, Jaffer has kept up a grueling schedule, traveling across the world to cover events of great import – be they groundbreaking summits or sports spectacles.
