Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on June 22, Thursday said that the metro rail project would be extended to Patancheru industrial area if the BRS is voted to power in the ensuing assembly elections later this year. Patancheru, an industrial corridor on the western side of Hyderabad would benefit a lot if Metro Rail is extended. “You all will get Metro Rail soon, if our government comes back to power,” said KCR, amidst cheers from locals.
Now, Metro Rail is running for about 72 km in Hyderabad city and soon it would be extended up to Shamshabad International Airport on the southern side and Yadadri temple on the eastern side.
Addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone for the Super specialty hospital in Patancheru the chief minister said the concerted efforts of the government of Telangana were helping the state achieve comprehensive growth . He said the land rates in the state have increased considerably and even the so called Samaikhyandhra leaders are admitting this fact.
“We achieved development growth and welfare all at one time and the schemes and programmes undertaken by our state are now being emulated by several other states. The chief minister detailed how the state is achieving growth with the programmes concepts and schemes in a planned manner,” said CM KCR.
“We are number one on per capita income and we are top in the per capita utilization of power . These things are putting us at the top in the country,” said CM KCR. Patancheru BRS MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy detailed about the development brought under the guidance of the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao during the past nine years.
The industrial belt of Patancheru is now forging ahead on the development front and it is hoping to achieve more and more development aspects, he said.The chief minister said that the Government will open 5 super speciality hospitals in Hyderabad shortly.
Health minister Hareesh Rao while speaking on the occasion He detailed the achievements on the medical and health departments in the state.
Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, IAS, MP Ranjith Reddy, MLCs Mahender Reddy Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and other leaders were present on the occasion.
