Telangana Backward Classes Commission Chairman Dr Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao who wrapped his three week long US tour returned to Hyderabad on July 25, Tuesday. He was accorded a warm welcome by his supporters and members of various BC organisations and public representatives at Shamshabad International Airport on arrival.
During this trip, Dr Vakulabharanam was conferred Mahatma Phule Award by Telugu associations at TANA meetings Philadelphia in the US. He addressed Telugu and NRI gatherings at Philadelphia, Houston, Sugar Land, Dallas, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Raleigh. , He spoke on the rapid strides made by Telangana in the path of progress and development under the leadership of CM KCR, according to a press note from his office.
Dr. Vakulabharanam Krishan Mohan Rao, the Chairman Telangana State Backward Class Commission was on a three-week tour to the US to participate in the 23 rd Annual Convention of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) meetings from July 7 – 9. He was conferred Mahatma Phule Award for his outstanding social work by the TANA Association.
He expressed his appreciation to the TANA Association for the excellent hospitality given to him and the Award conferred on him. Similarly, he expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister, K Chandra Shekar Rao for according permission to participate in the TANA meetings and owed all his success to him, the chairman said. “We all work under the guidance and leadership of KCR Sir,” said Vakulabharanam speaking at the US meetiings.
