Has Iran alerted the US of its airstrikes against armed bases in Qatar and Iraq on June 23, Monday?. President Trump says so. This helped the US vacate its personnel and other important weaponry from the military bases and minimize the damage. In all, Iran filed 14 missiles against American military bases and 13 of them were neutralized by the US and one was allowed to touch the ground.
Even that single missile too fell at a place where the US suffered little damage. As a result, Iran struck the US army bases but caused no loss of life, major injuries to personnel or property. This is revealed by President Donald Trump in his Truth Social post which was shared by Vice President JD Vance.
The US has – ‘let go’ – that single missile of Iran so that their Hate toward America will go. Trump further said that now that Iran has retaliated to the American bombs on three of its nuclear sites, the process of peace can begin now. Trump termed the Iran’s response was expected but it was very weak.
“I want to thank Iran for giving us early noti9ce, which made it possible for no lves to be lost and nobody to be injured. Perhaps Iran can now proceed to peace and harmony in the region and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention,” said Trump in his post.
Will Iran come for talks?
Of course, this is the version of President Trump and the US. But, will Iran accept that it has given prior notice to the US on their raids on American military bases in Qatar and Iraq? And importantly, will Iran come for talks with Israel as suggested by the US? Or at least resume talks with the US which began before June 13?
Answers to these questions are to be provided by Iran. Though Iran has kept its word of responding to the US attack on its nuclear sites, they haven’t caused much damage to the US military bases. The attacks will at the best satisfy Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps ego, for domestic consumption that they can hit back at the US.
Another reason for hopes of talks is Iran hasn’t got expected support from any of its allies – Russia, China, Turkey or Pakistan, leaver alone the Arab counties like Saudi Arabia etc. They all only condemned the US attacks but haven’t come forward to provide any military support, which is crucial for continuing the war against America.
