BRS supremo and former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao who underwent a hip replacement surgery a month ago is recovering fast. He is able to sit in chair and receive visitors at his Nandi Nagar residence in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. KCR had a fall in his bathroom at Erravelli farmhouse on December 7 and admitted to Yashoda Hospital immediately. He underwent the surgery thereafter and was discharged a week later.

Doctors suggested him a rest for about six to eight weeks at home. On January 7, Sunday, he appeared active, sat in a chair and received visitors for sometime. KCR received AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and had lunch with him a couple of days ago. On Sunday, KCR received another guest couple – former governor ESL Narasimhan and his wife. Narasimhan couple came all the way from Bangalore to see KCR.

Narasimhan was received at Nandi Nagar residence by KCR’s son and former minister KTR, BRS MP J Santosh Kumar and others. Sharing a pic of KCR in chair, Santosh posted on X: “The #leader is back and ready to make waves. This photo got 38,800 views and 1,138 likes. Later in the day, KCR also sent a Chadar to Ajmir Dargha as he does it every year. Former minister Mohammed Ali and other BRS leaders were present on the occasion.

KCR will meet public from February first week

Former minister T Harish Rao a couple of days before said that KCR would be back to public life from February first week. The former CM will meet people and party cadre at Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills soon. This will be a boost to the party ranks as they are waiting for KCR’s fast recovery from the surgery. This also indicates KCR’s active involvement in coming Lok Sabha elections which might be held in April-May this year.
