Elisha Pulivarti/Washington DC
Indian spiritual guru and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, will be delivering a talk on “Unconditional Love” at an important gathering in Washington DC on September 10, Sunday at 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. The event is being organised by the World Religions Conference. Besides him, several other religious leaders too would be speaking on the occasion, making it a comprehensive platform to delve into the subject.
The event will be held at Martin’ Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Center Dr, Greenblet, Maryland. I am delighted to share with you all that I will be giving welcome remarks to the programme. Many organisations, including Seventh Adventist Church, among others have come forward to organize the event on religious tolerance, at a time when the world is seeing intolerance and communal strife.

As everyone knows, the world currently is witnessing turmoil on all fronts – from economic crisis to social inequalities. Coupled with this is the climate change that is devastating the poorest of the poor. Religious groups, especially those in minority are in search of finding some space and justice. This event of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will definitely help find a path to spiritual solutions to the problems we face.
