Accompanied by a massive convoy, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supremo and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao left June 26, Monday for a two day visit to Maharashtra. The convoy consisted of a bus and 600 odd cars and the entire Cabinet of KCR, almost all the MLAs MLCs MPs and ministers were there in the team that proceeded to Sholapur.
In the morning the convoy left Pragathi Bhavan, in Hyderabad, amidst clapping of BRS cadre and floweral rains Enroute. The convoy passed through Sangareddy, Pathancheruvu towns and it proceeded through Umargah where the chief minister and his team stopped for lunch.
The chief minister of Telangana would inspect the weaving industry and handloom weaving units in Sholapur on Tuesday before leaving for Phandharpur and Tuljabhavani temple. A senior leader of Maharashtra Bhageerath Bhalke is joining BRS in Sholapur. The CM will visit Pandarpur Rukmini temple and perform Punjas there for the welfare of people of the country.
The tour evoked overwhelming response from the public and thousands of people stood on both sides of the roads in the villages enroute the Maharashtra state greeting and waiting for the Telangana chief minister. They chanted slogans Ab ki baar Kisaan Sarkar and KCR zindabad and there was festive like look in the rural parts connecting the two state borders.
The enthusiastic crowds were seen raising slogans “Desh ki Netha kaisa ho, KCR jaisaa ho” and “Abki Bar, Kisan Sarkar”. KCR will meet hundreds of BRS leaders and activists who joined the party since recently or would be joining soon. KCR has been getting huge response from leaders of Maharashtra since he launched BRS.
